Course Snapshot

Why Choose Us (Unique to LVR + First Aid)

The LVR + First Aid combination course is specifically designed for the electrical and technical workforce where a higher level of emergency response competency is required — beyond CPR alone. Many employers, contractors, and network providers prefer or mandate full First Aid so workers can manage electrical injuries, burns, trauma, and workplace emergencies more effectively.

TrainingNSW delivers this course in partnership with ABC First Aid – RTO #3399, ensuring all certifications are nationally recognised, compliant with SafeWork NSW, and accepted across NSW electrical networks.

Why students and employers choose TrainingNSW for LVR + First Aid:

Combined UETDRMP018 + HLTAID011 certification delivered in one streamlined session
All units meet national training standards and NSW electrical safety requirements
Ideal for electricians, apprentices, solar installers, and construction contractors
Hands-on scenario-based learning with experienced industry trainers
Convenient location directly opposite Chester Hill Train Station
Flexible weekday and weekend options
Onsite training available for teams of 3 or more
Certificates delivered within 1 business day

This combined program gives workers the broader first aid knowledge needed for burns, bleeding, fractures, shock, asthma, anaphylaxis, and trauma — all of which are common in high-risk electrical environments.

Why LVR + First Aid Is Required in Many Workplaces

1. Electrical injuries often involve more than cardiac arrest

Burns, shocks, falls, and trauma frequently occur during electrical incidents — requiring full First Aid, not just CPR.

2. Many employers require First Aid for WHS compliance

Construction, solar, data/telecoms, and facility maintenance crews must hold current HLTAID011 under workplace safety plans.

3. UETDRMP018 assessments require broader casualty management

The new LVR unit includes scenarios involving:

Burns
Bleeding
Shock
Conscious/unconscious casualty
Scene risk management

These components align directly with First Aid competencies.

4. Workers become more versatile and employable

Holding both units keeps electricians fully compliant when moving between jobs, sites, and contractors.
