This course is ideal for supervisors, WHS officers, safety leaders, and workers in high-risk environments such as construction, manufacturing, mining, warehousing, healthcare, schools, community services, and large facilities. It is recommended for anyone needing advanced skills beyond standard first aid.

You will learn major trauma management, multi-casualty triage, oxygen therapy, airway adjuncts (OPA), BVM and suction, incident management, stretcher and spine board use, managing distressed casualties, pain assessment, infection control, and the full DRSABCD response.

HLTAID014 is valid for 3 years, but the CPR component (HLTAID009) must be renewed every 12 months to comply with workplace and WHS regulations.

  • HLTAID011 – Provide First Aid: Standard workplace first aid including CPR, bleeding, burns, asthma, and anaphylaxis.
  • HLTAID014 – Provide Advanced First Aid: Includes everything in HLTAID011 plus advanced techniques for managing multiple casualties, extended care in delayed-response environments, trauma, oxygen, and incident coordination.

HLTAID011 is recommended but not required. Anyone aged 14+, with basic English and the ability to perform CPR on the floor, can enrol.

Yes. This course includes online pre-learning (1–2 hours) that must be completed before attending your practical session.

The face-to-face training runs for approximately 6 hours, including practical scenarios and assessments.

Yes. This course includes oxygen therapy, airway adjuncts, BVM, and other advanced resuscitation equipment used in real emergencies.

Yes. We provide onsite group training across Sydney, ideal for WHS teams, supervisors, large facilities, and emergency response groups.

A valid photo ID, closed shoes, and comfortable clothing suitable for practical activities (including CPR on the floor).

  • Weekday courses: Same-day digital certificate.
  • Weekend courses: Issued the next business day (Monday).
