This course is recommended for employees and individuals across a wide range of industries, including:

Hospitality and customer service roles It is also suitable for anyone in the community who wants to be prepared to provide first aid in an emergency.

HLTAID011 is valid for 3 years. However, the CPR component within the course must be renewed every 12 months to stay compliant with most workplace and ACECQA requirements.

  • HLTAID009 – Provide CPR: Focuses only on CPR and AED use, valid for 12 months.
  • HLTAID011 – Provide First Aid: Covers CPR plus a wide range of first aid treatments including bleeding, fractures, asthma, anaphylaxis, burns, and shock. Valid for 3 years (CPR annually).
  • HLTAID012 – Childcare First Aid: Includes all of HLTAID011 with additional emphasis on asthma, anaphylaxis, and paediatric emergencies for childcare and education workers.

No prior training is required. Anyone aged 14 years or older with basic English and the ability to perform CPR can enrol.

  • Weekday Courses: Certificates are issued the same day once you complete and pass.
  • Weekend Courses: Certificates are issued on the next business day (Monday).
  • Both digital and optional printed certificates (+$25) are available.
